WATCH Weekly Report 01-29-25

 ** WATCH Weekly Report 01-29-25 **
------------------------------------------------------------
To the WATCH Board, Judges, and Alternates:

Note: Dominion Stage (DS) had to postpone the opening of their show due to illness and will now be opening on Thursday, February 6th.  If you were scheduled to see the show this weekend, someone from DS will reach out to you to reschedule.

TIP OF THE WEEK: Did 4 or more actors appear on stage at any time during the show? If so, there should be a score for Ensemble on your ballot.  It does not matter how many actors were on stage at one time, whether there is an Ensemble listed in the Playbill, or whether it is a Play or Musical.  Basically, Ensemble = Full Cast.  This is the first category in the Overall Elements section, and the default is “N/A”, so be sure to select a score.  The ONLY time you DON’T enter a score for Ensemble is if there are only 1, 2 or 3 people in the ENTIRE cast.  I have also heard from some people that sometimes this score is entered, but reverts to an “N/A” if you miss scoring another element and the form refreshes so you can add this score.  In which case, please double check to make sure the Ensemble score is included before you submit.

******************************************
NOTE:  Balloting for a show closes 30 days after the show closes.  If you owe us a ballot, please get it in as soon as possible.

Friendly Reminders:

  1. DO NOT REPLY TO THIS EMAIL. It’s very long, and the reply will include the entire thing. Please send a new email to watchadjudication@gmail.com
  2. DO email me your reservation dates. Really, I want to know!
  3. DO search this entire report for your name, including in the “Closed” section to see if you owe any ballots.
  4. If you go see a show that you were not assigned to see, please let me know in case we need an alternate. Try to keep the playbills for all shows you see at WATCH company theaters, at least until you see that it has closed with all ballots received. Similarly, if you see a note that an alternate is needed and you are available to see that show, please let me know.
