WATCH Weekly Report 01-31-18

** WATCH Weekly Report 01-31-18 **

------------------------------------------------------------

To the WATCH Board, Judges, and Alternates:

Margaret reports that at least ¼ to ⅓ of the ballots she has received do not have an Ensemble Score.  Remember, if you see 4 or more people on stage during the course of the show, regardless of the size of the roles, your ballot should include a score for Ensemble.  This applies to both Plays and Musicals, and has nothing to do with whether the playbill lists an Ensemble or not.

Also, I want to be sure everyone is aware that sometimes Margaret includes notes in the ballot confirmation email regarding any issues there might be with your ballot, including missing scores.  This message is always at the bottom of the email, below the show information.  So please make sure you open every ballot confirmation you receive from her and read the entire email.

*****************************************

NOTE:  Balloting for a show closes 30 days after the show closes.  If you owe us a ballot, please get it in as soon as possible.

Friendly Reminders:

1.      DO NOT REPLY TO THIS EMAIL.  It’s very long, and the reply will include the entire thing, clogging my inbox.  Please send a new email to adjudication@washingtontheater.org

2.      DO email me your reservation dates.  Really, I want to know!

3.      DO search this entire report for your name, including in the “Closed” section to see if you owe any ballots.

4.      If you go see a show that you were not assigned to see, please let me know in case we need an alternate.  Try to keep the playbills for all shows you see at WATCH company theaters, at least until you see that it has closed with all ballots received.  Similarly, if you see a note that an alternate is needed and you are available to see that show, please let me know.
