WATCH Weekly Report 05-24-23

 ** WATCH Weekly Report 05-24-23 **
------------------------------------------------------------
To the WATCH Board, Judges, and Alternates:

Thank you very much to everyone who stepped forward to fill out an alternate ballot for the closed shows on last week’s report!

But we now need an alternate ballot for another show that just closed.  Please look at the Closed section, and if you saw the show and can fill out a ballot, please let me know.

And remember, if you ever have the chance to take another WATCH judge to a show with you as your companion, grab it.  It’s an automatic built-in alternate ballot.

*****************************************
NOTE:  Balloting for a show closes 30 days after the show closes.  If you owe us a ballot, please get it in as soon as possible.

Friendly Reminders:

  1. DO NOT REPLY TO THIS EMAIL. It’s very long, and the reply will include the entire thing. Please send a new email to watchadjudication@gmail.com
  2. DO email me your reservation dates. Really, I want to know!
  3. DO search this entire report for your name, including in the “Closed” section to see if you owe any ballots.
  4. If you go see a show that you were not assigned to see, please let me know in case we need an alternate. Try to keep the playbills for all shows you see at WATCH company theaters, at least until you see that it has closed with all ballots received. Similarly, if you see a note that an alternate is needed and you are available to see that show, please let me know.
  5. DO check each theater’s COVID policies before attending any show, even if you think you already know what they are, and make sure you are comfortable attending.

WATCH Weekly Report 05-17-23

 ** WATCH Weekly Report 05-17-23 **
------------------------------------------------------------
To the WATCH Board, Judges, and Alternates:

We still need alternate ballots for a few shows that have already closed.  Please look at the Closed section, and if you saw any of the shows and can fill out a ballot, please let me know.

Also, as a reminder, I do not have access to the ballots you submit, so I do not know that your ballot has been submitted until Margaret sends out the confirmation email to you, me and your rep.  Please take some time to look through the report each week and see if you are still listed for a show for which you already submitted a ballot.  If you are listed and have received a confirmation email, assume I did not get it and forward a copy to me.  If you did not receive a confirmation, we will need to check in with Margaret to see whether or not she received the ballot, and you may need to resubmit.

Once you've gotten onto the GW Parkway and passed the airport on your left, continue heading south. The Parkway becomes Washington Street as you enter the city of Alexandria. Cross King Street and take the third left after King onto Wolfe Street. You will find LTA on the right hand side of the street, at the corner of Wolfe and St. Asaph streets.
From The Capital Beltway - take the exit for Route 1 North. As you exit on the ramp, you'll drive onto Route 1 and get in the right lane immediately. Take the first right, onto Franklin St. At the light, make a left onto Washington Street. Pass two lights and make a right onto Wolfe St. LTA is at the corner of Wolfe and St. Asaph streets.
Parking - Parking is on the street. Watch posted signs, as some areas have two hour parking limitations and some require payment. The Capital One Bank on the corner of Wilkes and Washington streets lets our patrons park in their lot when the bank is closed. Please note The Capital One Bank has extended their hours to include evening and weekend hours. Please make sure not to use their parking lot when they are open.
