** WATCH
Weekly Report 10-31-18 **
------------------------------------------------------------
To the WATCH Board, Judges, and Alternates:
Happy Halloween! Or for you
pagans out there, Happy Samhain! ¡Y un Buen
Día
de los Muertos (para quienes celebran esto)!
We still need an alternate ballot for “Steel Magnolias” at
Fauquier Community Theatre. Let me know
if you can help out.
*****************************************
NOTE: Balloting for a show closes 30 days after the
show closes. If you owe us a ballot,
please get it in as soon as possible.
Friendly Reminders:
1.
DO NOT REPLY TO THIS EMAIL. It’s very long, and the reply will include
the entire thing, clogging my inbox.
Please send a new email to adjudication@washingtontheater.org
2.
DO email me your reservation
dates. Really, I want to know!
3.
DO search this entire report for
your name, including in the “Closed” section to see if you owe any ballots.
4.
If you go see a show that you were
not assigned to see, please let me know in case we need an alternate. Try to keep the playbills for all shows you
see at WATCH company theaters, at least until you see that it has closed with
all ballots received. Similarly, if you
see a note that an alternate is needed and you are available to see that show,
please let me know.

performance space(s): From Points North
- "How would you get to Reagan National Airport?" That's the first
question to answer. Once you've gotten onto the GW Parkway and passed the
airport on your left, continue heading south. The Parkway becomes Washington
Street as you enter the city of Alexandria. Cross King Street and take the
third left after King onto Wolfe Street. You will find LTA on the right hand
side of the street, at the corner of Wolfe and St. Asaph streets.
From The Capital Beltway - take the exit for Route 1 North. As you exit on the ramp, you'll drive onto Route 1 and get in the right lane immediately. Take the first right, onto Franklin St. At the light, make a left onto Washington Street. Pass two lights and make a right onto Wolfe St. LTA is at the corner of Wolfe and St. Asaph streets.
Parking - Parking is on the street. Watch posted signs, as some have two hour parking limitations and some require payment. The Capital One Bank on the corner of Wilkes and Washington streets lets our patrons park in their lot when the bank is closed. Please note The Capital One Bank has extended their hours to include evening and weekend hours. Please make sure not to use their parking lot when they are open.
There are several garages within walking distance - one is on Washington Street, near King, and there are several on Pitt, near King. Look for the "Public Parking" signs.
Handicapped parking is located on St. Asaph Street next to LTA's courtyard.
