WATCH Weekly Report 06-21-22

 ** WATCH Weekly Report 06-21-22 **
------------------------------------------------------------
To the WATCH Board, Judges, and Alternates:

No, you have not lost any days, and I have not lost my mind.  I am sending the report a day early because I am going out of town and wanted to get this out before I go.  Next week you will have a guest Adjudication Coordinator – Jenna Ballard – on Wednesday this time.  Now on to other important news.

While it is always a good idea to reserve early to avoid a sold out show, it is especially true for musicals, even more so for summer musicals, and most especially so for musicals that appeal to kids.  So if you are assigned to “Disney’s Beauty and the Beast” at PTP opening in a couple of weeks (look for your name below), make your reservation NOW.  Seriously.  Right now.  I’ll wait.

Any other musical that appears below is also likely to sell very quickly, so jump on those now as well.

And for good measure, if you are assigned any other shows in the report, go ahead and make those reservations now so we can both cross it off our to-do lists.

Also, the final performances of “Rock of Ages” at ASGT were cancelled due to COVID.  If you saw this show on your own and can fill out an alternate ballot, please let me know.

Phew.  If you read all the way through that, you get a gold star.

*****************************************
NOTE:  Balloting for a show closes 30 days after the show closes.  If you owe us a ballot, please get it in as soon as possible.

Friendly Reminders:

  1. DO NOT REPLY TO THIS EMAIL. It’s very long, and the reply will include the entire thing. Please send a new email to watchadjudication@gmail.com
  2. DO email me your reservation dates. Really, I want to know!
  3. DO search this entire report for your name, including in the “Closed” section to see if you owe any ballots.
  4. If you go see a show that you were not assigned to see, please let me know in case we need an alternate. Try to keep the playbills for all shows you see at WATCH company theaters, at least until you see that it has closed with all ballots received. Similarly, if you see a note that an alternate is needed and you are available to see that show, please let me know.
  5. DO check each theater’s COVID policies before attending any show, even if you think you already know what they are, and make sure you are comfortable attending
