WATCH Weekly Report 04-17-19

** WATCH Weekly Report 04-17-19 **
------------------------------------------------------------
To the WATCH Board, Judges, and Alternates:

TIP OF THE WEEK:  This week’s tip is more of a “Plea of the Week” – as soon as you make your reservation, please let me know when you are going.  I promise I am not tracking your every move and I never share this information with anyone.  I just need this a) to be sure every show has 10 judges reserved to see it before it closes and b) to keep you informed about the specific performance you are attending (e.g. cancellations, last minute understudies, etc.).  If you are making a reservation by email, feel free to just cc: me on the reservation and then you do not need to send me something separate.  So long as I know when you are going, I am good.

Also, please remember that musicals tend to sell out at a lot of theaters, and musicals with kids sell out even faster.  (It is worth noting that we have two productions of “Annie” opening next week, and also a production of “Seussical”.)  So if you are assigned to any of musicals, I would recommend making your reservation ASAP.  But reserving early is always a good idea.

*****************************************
NOTE:  Balloting for a show closes 30 days after the show closes.  If you owe us a ballot, please get it in as soon as possible.

Friendly Reminders:

1.      DO NOT REPLY TO THIS EMAIL.  It’s very long, and the reply will include the entire thing, clogging my inbox.  Please send a new email to adjudication@washingtontheater.org
2.      DO email me your reservation dates.  Really, I want to know!
3.      DO search this entire report for your name, including in the “Closed” section to see if you owe any ballots.
4.      If you go see a show that you were not assigned to see, please let me know in case we need an alternate.  Try to keep the playbills for all shows you see at WATCH company theaters, at least until you see that it has closed with all ballots received.  Similarly, if you see a note that an alternate is needed and you are available to see that show, please let me know.
