WATCH Weekly Report 11-15-17

** WATCH Weekly Report 11-15-17 **
------------------------------------------------------------
To the WATCH Board, Judges, and Alternates:

We are officially in the home stretch – every show opening this year appears on this report.  So if your name does not appear anywhere on this report, you are officially done.  [Insert official judges’ happy dance here – patent pending.]  Of course you should continue to let me know if you see a show in case we end up needing an alternate ballot.

In order to have the ballots tabulated in time for nominations (and so Margaret does not have to spend her holidays on this), all ballots must be received no later than 3 days after the final show closes – that is, by December 20th.  No ballots will be accepted after this date.  In fact, I leave for vacation on December 17th, so I would consider it a personal favor if everyone could make sure to have their ballots in by the 17th so I do not have to spend my vacation chasing down missing ballots. So if you have a show coming up, please plan to see if early in the run so you are not scrambling last minute to submit a ballot.

*****************************************
NOTE:  Balloting for a show closes 30 days after the show closes.  If you owe us a ballot, please get it in as soon as possible.

Friendly Reminders:

1.      DO NOT REPLY TO THIS EMAIL.  It’s very long, and the reply will include the entire thing, clogging my inbox.  Please send a new email to adjudication@washingtontheater.org
2.      DO email me your reservation dates.  Really, I want to know!
3.      DO search this entire report for your name, including in the “Closed” section to see if you owe any ballots.
4.      If you go see a show that you were not assigned to see, please let me know in case we need an alternate.  Try to keep the playbills for all shows you see at WATCH company theaters, at least until you see that it has closed with all ballots received.  Similarly, if you see a note that an alternate is needed and you are available to see that show, please let me know.
