Turn Left on Sylvan Drive at the sign for the White Marsh Recreation Area and Left on route 3 South, or alternatively pass Sylvan Lane and make a U-Turn at the traffic light at Route 450 and proceed South on Route 3. Note: The turn on Sylvan Drive can be difficult if there is heavy south-bound traffic, so you are better off continuing past Sylvan Drive to the light at Route 450, where you can make a U-turn, then proceed south. Center is metro/metrobus accessible via the Red Line from either the Van Ness/UDC stop on the L1 or L2 bus going north on Conn Ave, or from the Friendship Heights stop on the E2, E4 or E6 bus.
If walking from the Van Ness/UDC metro stop, it's about 1/5 miles straight up Conn. Ave. From the Friendship Heights metro stop, it's about 1 mile up Wisc Ave to Western Ave to McKinley St.
Parking is available for free at the meters along Conn Ave (after 6:30) or in the parking lot behind the building or along the side streets.

DIRECTIONS TO PERFORMANCE ADDRESS: Colonial Players is located on East St, one half block east of State Circle. Parking for the theater is easiest to find at the state garage on Calvert Street near St. John’s College, which is open from 6 in the evening weeknights and all weekends free of charge. Driving from Route 50 East – take Rowe Blvd. South Exit 24. Proceed approximately 1 mile.

If you wish to go directly to the state parking garage, stay in the left lane when crossing the College Creek bridge. Turn left at the next light onto Calvert Street. Go to the stop sign and turn left on to St. John's St. The garage entrance is on the left. The theater is about 6 blocks away. From the garage, walk up St. John’s Street and cross College Avenue. Proceed on North St. to State Circle. Turn left on State Circle and walk two blocks to East St. Turn left and the theater will be on your left a half block ahead. 3. Just ahead is a light for Southway, you can go all the way to the light and turn right or use the right exit to “Baltimore-Washington Parkway” which will also allow merge onto Southway. Take Southway into the center of town.

4. After crossing Crescent Road, Southway becomes Centerway, take the first left and proceed through the parking lot, then to the right down the hill. The Greenbelt Arts Center is in the lower level of Roosevelt Center, down the stairs from the main level with the movie theater, grocery store, and New Deal Cafe. The address is 123 Centerway.

Directions to performance space(s): From Points North - "How would you get to Reagan National Airport?" That's the first question to answer. Once you've gotten onto the GW Parkway and passed the airport on your left, continue heading south. The Parkway becomes Washington Street as you enter the city of Alexandria. Cross King Street and take the third left after King onto Wolfe Street. You will find LTA on the right hand side of the street, at the corner of Wolfe and St. Asaph streets.
From The Capital Beltway - take the exit for Route 1 North. As you exit on the ramp, you'll drive onto Route 1 and get in the right lane immediately. Parking - Parking is on the street. Watch posted signs, as some have two hour parking limitations. The Capital One Bank on the corner of Wilkes and Washington streets lets our patrons park in their lot when the bank is closed. Please note The Capital One Bank has extended their hours to include evening and weekend hours. Please make sure not to use their parking lot when they are open.

LTA is pleased to announce that Williams Parking lot is now available to LTA patrons during our productions. Williams Parking lot is located just off Wilkes Street, near the corner of South Washington Street, immediately next to the CVS. It is within two blocks of LTA. Parking cost is $5.00 per visit and is available starting at 5:00 p.m. for our evening performances and at 1:00 p.m. for our matinees. Parking is available on a first-come, first-served basis. Directions to performance space(s): Take Beltway exit 30A (Colesville Road north) and cross University Blvd. The Woodmore shopping center will be immediately on the right. The Stage is at the north end of the shopping center between the CVS and the bank. Additional parking is available in the back - pass the shopping center and turn right on Timberwood and right again into the parking lot.
