** WATCH Weekly Report 03-26-25 **
------------------------------------------------------------
To the WATCH Board, Judges, and Alternates:
TIP OF THE WEEK: There is often confusion
between props and set dressing. Props are used/handled by the actors;
set dressing is not. Set dressing refers to items used to, well, dress
the set – furniture, rugs, curtains, plants, anything hung on the wells,
etc. There can be some confusion because set dressing items can
sometimes be picked up and become props. Just do your best to try to
distinguish what is there to be used by the actors and what is there to
set the scene.
