To the WATCH Board, Judges, and Alternates:
I recently heard from a judge who missed the beginning of a show because
the time listed in the report was incorrect. It is important to note
that I base the theater information in this report on the information
that is given to me at the beginning of the year. I try to confirm
everything on the theater’s website before a show appears in the report,
but the information is not always readily available.
So, I think it is time for a couple of reminders:
- Reps – please check all of the information about your show the first time it appears on the report, and immediately report any errors to me.
- Judges – always confirm the information for the show you are seeing, including date and time, before attending.You can do this using your confirmation or tickets, but checking the theater’s website before going is probably also a wise move.

NOTE: Balloting for a show closes 30 days after the show closes. If you owe us a ballot, please get it in as soon as possible.

- DO email me your reservation dates. Really, I want to know!
- DO search this entire report for your name, including in the “Closed” section to see if you owe any ballots.
- If you go see a show that you were not assigned to see, please let me know in case we need an alternate. Try to keep the playbills for all shows you see at WATCH company theaters, at least until you see that it has closed with all ballots received. Similarly, if you see a note that an alternate is needed and you are available to see that show, please let me know.
- DO check each theater’s COVID policies before attending any show, even if you think you already know what they are, and make sure you are comfortable attending.

Parking for the theater is easiest at the large Calvert Street Garage
(State Garage) at 19 St. John's Street, Annapolis, MD 21401, which is
free of charge from 6:00 p.m. to 6:00 a.m. Mon-Thu nights and all
weekends from 6:00 p.m. Friday night to 6:00 a.m. Monday. In addition to
the State Garage, the Gotts Court Garage at West and Calvert Streets is

Directions to the Calvert Street Garage: Stay in the left lane
when crossing the College Creek bridge. Turn left at the next light onto
Calvert Street. Go to the stop sign and turn left on to St. John's St.
The garage entrance is on the left.
The theater is about 6 blocks away. From the Calvert Street Garage, walk
up St. John’s Street and cross College Avenue. Proceed on North St. to
State Circle. Turn left on State Circle and walk two blocks to East
Street. Turn left and the theater will be on your left a half block
ahead.
Directions directly to the theater: Stay in the left lane when
crossing the College Creek bridge, proceed straight at the light to
College Ave. Turn left on to College Ave. Proceed one block and turn
right on to North St. Turn right at State Circle and drive approximately
halfway around the Circle to East Street. Turn right and the theater is
one half block on your left.

Directions to performance space(s): From Points North - "How
would you get to Reagan National Airport?" That's the first question to
answer. Once you've gotten onto the GW Parkway and passed the airport on
your left, continue heading south. The Parkway becomes Washington
Street as you enter the city of Alexandria. Cross King Street and take
the third left after King onto Wolfe Street. You will find LTA on the
right hand side of the street, at the corner of Wolfe and St. Asaph
streets.
From The Capital Beltway - take the exit for Route 1 North. As you exit
on the ramp, you'll drive onto Route 1 and get in the right lane
immediately. Take the first right, onto Franklin St. At the light, make a
left onto Washington Street. Pass two lights and make a right onto
Wolfe St. LTA is at the corner of Wolfe and St. Asaph streets.
Parking - Parking is on the street. Watch posted signs, as some areas
have two hour parking limitations and some require payment. The Capital
One Bank on the corner of Wilkes and Washington streets lets our patrons
park in their lot when the bank is closed. Please note The Capital One
Bank has extended their hours to include evening and weekend hours.
Please make sure not to use their parking lot when they are open.
There are several garages within walking distance - one is on Washington
Street, near King, and there are several on Pitt, near King. Look for
the "Public Parking" signs.
One handicap accessible parking space is located on St Asaph Street next to LTA’s courtyard.
